Club Championship - Summer 2006

Format

This years competition has fourteen entrants which will be split into two groups of roughly equal strength based on the seeding given in the table below. Each group will then play an all-play-all of one game per round. The winners of each group will then play against each other to decide the champion and runner-up. In the event of a tie in either group then the individual result will decide (in the case of a draw, replay with same conditions until decisive result).

Rules

One game per round. Weaker player decides which colour he would like. A players clock time is determined from the handicap table below which gives less clock time to stronger players (based on the formula 18 + (average grade {108.4615} - actual grade) / 5 rounded to the nearest minute). Deadline for all games is 31st August 2006.
